Gigantes Islands: Quick Overview
Gigantes group of islands is located in the town of Carles in Iloilo, Visayas. Highly influenced by the Spanish, Iloilo boast of its scenic churches and structures which were built during the Spanish era. But, not only does its main city offers great attractions, but Iloilo is proudly the home of the picturesque Gigantes Islands.
Cabugao Gamay
One of the islands in Gigantes is Cabugao Gamay which offers a 360 panoramic view of the entire island and the nearby islets.

Cabugao Gamay is just one of the breathtaking islands of Gigantes. It has majestic rock formations that are just perfect for travel photography junkies.

Not only does it have a panoramic view of the islands, but it also has crystal clear waters, perfect for a quick swim.
Bantigue Island
Another island is Bantigue. Though the sands are not as fine as Cabugao Gamay, Bantigue has its own marvel. It is where you can find Bantigue Sandbar. This is also where you can see beautiful colored rocks of different hues, naturally painted by nature.
Giant Squid for Lunch
Antonia Beach is another island in Gigantes. It is where tourists have their lunch and meals of fresh seafood, just caught right out from the sea.
FRESH SCALLOPS FOR P1.00/pc
This is where I experienced eating fresh grilled scallops for P1.00/pc to my heart’s content. Another attraction is the Tanke Salt Water Lagoon which is very much appealing to tourists. The lagoon’s scenic landscape is ultimately captivating and the waters are just perfect for a swim.
